This item represents Gai Ikari's transformation device into Gokai Silver! To transform, Gai inserts the Gokai Silver Ranger Key to the Gokai Cellular and presses the button on top to scan it. That said, the internal mechanism of this release has been updated compared to the original DX version and that includes the sound the toy makes once it scans a Ranger Key, making it closer to the one seen in the series. In addition, the LED is also updated as it now has a wider ranger of illumination compared to the DX toy.
Aside from the body improvements, this item now has a BGM button and a Dialogue button. The BGM button plays songs related to Gokai Silver, namely "Gingin ni Ikuze!" and "Kansei! Gozyujin". Pressing the Dialogue button will play lines coming from Gai Ikari/Gai Ikari (played by Junya Ikeda). The item has over 60 kinds of dialogue. But that's not all, aside from the usual lines, this item also includes the Gai Ikari Super Sentai Course in which Gai passionately talks about various Super Sentai!
The Gokai Silver Ranger Key is also updated as it is now painted metallic silver and has the features of the Memorial Edition Ranger Keys, which includes an instant flip button. Aside from Gokai Silver, this set also comes with the Dragon Ranger Ranger Key, Time Fire Ranger Key, Abare Killer Ranger Key, the Gold Anchor Key, and a brand new Ranger Key, which looks like the Twokaizer Ranger Key! The Ranger Keys are of course compatible with the Mobilates - Memorial Edition (sold separately).
